"Bob" (Age 49)
Of Washington, DC, passed peacefully at home surrounded by loving family and friends at 11:20 p.m. on April 30, 2016. Bob was born December 13, 1966, to Claire (Yetman) and James Giblin of Marlborough, MA. Bob and Megan (Aslaksen) married in Alexandria, VA, on December 20, 2008.
Bob is survived by his wife of nearly eight years, Megan M. Giblin of Washington, DC; and his brothers, James Giblin of West Minster, MA, Richard Giblin of Niles, MI and Tom Giblin of Clinton, MA. His parents, Claire and Jim Giblin of Punta Gorda, FL, preceded him in death. A Memorial Mass will be held at 1 p.m. on May 15, 2016, at Immaculate Conception Church, 1315 8th St., NW, Washington, DC 20001. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Bob''s name to LUNGevity (www.lungevity.org) or The Hackerman-Patz Pavilion at Johns Hopkins Hospital, in Baltimore, MD.
