

Scott Adkins, aged 30, tragically passed away in a car accident on June 4, 2025. His loss will be felt deeply by every person who knew him.
Scott had a spirit that could lift the heaviest of hearts. With his warm smile and quick wit, he had an uncanny ability to make people laugh, even in the toughest times. Whether sharing a funny story or offering his unique perspective on life, Scott reminded us all to find joy in the little things. Those who knew Scott will remember him for his infectious smile and laughter, with an unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness to everyone he encountered. He left a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.
Born on January 17, 1995, Scott was a man of deep compassion and kindness. He wore his heart on his sleeve and lived with an openness that drew people in. He never hesitated to lend a hand, offer love, or speak with honesty. He had a childlike spirit that drew people in, full of curiosity, laughter, and a lightness that made others feel at ease. But more than anything, he treasured time spent with his children- those moments of connection meant the world to him. Scott leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and friends who will forever feel the impact of his friendship.
Though his journey on earth was marked by many challenges, his spirit was nothing short of inspiring. He taught us the true meaning of strength, patience, perseverance and unconditional love. Fiercely loyal, Scott will be remembered not just for what he loved, but for how he loved — with sincerity, humor, and a heart as big as his ideas.
Scott is survived by his three beloved children, Aaliyah Adkins, Ava Adkins and Zion Adkins; his mother, Angela Williams, father, Mark Williams and his father, Steve Weedon; his grandparents, Betty Brammer and Jessie Alexander; his siblings, Tavis Black Weedon, Tayvon Weedon, Tevon Montel Black, Kendra Black, Kahayla Graves and Semaj Henry; his cousins, Treyvon Twyman, Tennecia Twyman and Teonte Adkins; his girlfriend, Elene Tsimpedes and so many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless close friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Virginia Weedon; his brother Steven Weedon; his sister, Tequilla Weedon; his uncle, Scott Adkins; his aunt Cherokee Mangus; and his cousin Melquan Hicks-Bey.
He was a loving son, a caring brother, a cherished friend, and a source of strength for many. Although Scott's physical presence may no longer be in our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. His legacy of love and laughter will forever shine brightly in our hearts and memories.
A celebration of life for Scott will be held on June 20, 2025 beginning at 11:00am at DeVol Funeral Home at 10 East Deer Park Drive Gaithersburg, Maryland. All who knew and loved Scott are welcome to attend and share in remembering his beautiful life.
