Sofia St Jean was born on June 17, 2000, and peacefully departed this life on February 28, 2026. Though her time on earth was far too brief, Sofia’s life was filled with passion, creativity, love, and purpose.
Sofia was the beloved daughter of Mario St Jean and Pascale Viaud, who cherished her deeply and supported her dreams from an early age. She grew up in a loving family and shared a close bond with her brothers, Youri St Jean and Gaël St Jean. Sofia’s warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit made her a source of pride and happiness for her family and all who knew her.
From a young age, Sofia demonstrated a remarkable passion for music. Gifted with both talent and determination, she dedicated herself to developing her artistry and sharing her voice with the world. Sofia worked on several music projects and albums and collaborated with many fellow artists who admired not only her musical ability but also her creativity, professionalism, and generous spirit. Her music touched many lives and reflected the depth of her heart and soul.
Sofia pursued her academic goals with the same dedication she brought to her music. She graduated from Mercy College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music, an achievement that reflected her commitment to excellence and her desire to continue growing as an artist and scholar. At the time of her passing, Sofia had plans to further her education by pursuing a Master’s Degree in her field, continuing her journey in the world of music and creative expression.
Sofia will be remembered as a talented artist, a loving daughter and sister, and a bright light to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her faith, her passion for music, and her loving spirit will remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and the many people whose lives she touched through her art.
Though she is no longer with us in this life, Sofia’s legacy of love, music, and inspiration will live on forever. She leaves behind her devoted parents, Mario St Jean and Pascale Viaud, and her beloved brothers, Youri St Jean and Gaël St Jean, along with extended family, friends, collaborators, and supporters who will continue to honor her memory.
May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her music continue to inspire generations to come.
