Mr. Thomas "Tom" Stockton Blackman, 78, of Rockville, Maryland passed away at his residence on Saturday, January 18, 2025. Born in Takoma Park, Maryland on May 19,1946, he was a son of the late Samuel and Bertie Catoe Blackman.
Tom was a US Army veteran. He worked primarily for Montgomery County Schools as a school bus attendant but held other roles and duties while with Montgomery County and the school system.
Mr. Blackman is survived by his wife, Susan Blackman; two step- children, Katie and Chris Gay and two step-grandchildren, Dayzie and Hollie Malone.
A visitation will be held at DeVol Funeral Home, 10 East Deer Park Drive, Gaithersburg, Maryland on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park, Rockville, Maryland.
