Betzaida Ciliberto

Betzaida “Betsy” Ciliberto, 50 of Pooler, GA passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by family on July 6, 2014. Betsy was born on November 29, 1963 in New Haven, CT. Betsy was in the Nursing field for over 20 years both in CT and GA. She enjoyed her time working with the children at the YMCA in Pooler and briefly worked at Mitsubishi Power Systems prior to her illness. Betsy treasured her time in the kitchen cooking and baking and loved to garden.

Betsy is survived by her loving husband, Joseph L. Ciliberto; daughter Natasha Lombardi; son Carlos Rami; brother Carlos Ruiz (Kathi); sister Sharon Ruiz (Tony); grandson Joey Lavalley; father Gonzalo Ruiz; mother Laura (Nieves) Rodriquez; four step daughters and eight step grandchildren whom she loved like they were her own; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins both in the US and Puerto Rico.

A celebration of Betsy’s life is scheduled for July 9th, 2014 at 6:00 pm at her home in Pooler. Family and friends are invited to come and share their memories of this wonderful woman. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
