Brenda Kate Cohen

She was born in Savannah, Georgia on December 24, 1955 to the late Leon Peacock and Margaret Greene-Peacock.

She was the first female licensed pest control operator in the state of Georgia, and retired as a bookkeeper for Sloan Electric. She became a homemaker and a genealogist both of which she enjoyed. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, William and Calvin McNeely, her sister, Martha Lindsey, her ex-husband, John Johnson, and her son, Jimmy Shane Johnson. She leaves behind her husband, Barry Cohen, her sister, Kathy Toler, her daughter, Mollie Cohen and a host of nieces and nephews all of which she loved and cared for deeply.

Visitation: Wednesday, September 21, 2011 from 6 – 8 PM at the funeral home.

Funeral Service: Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 10:00AM in the Fairhaven Chapel.

Interment: Greenwich Cemetery
