Mrs. Jeannie Callaway

was born and raised in Savannah GA. She loved to sing and performed with a local

group, The Livingstons at the Bamboo Ranch. Highlights of her singing career included

opening for Little Richard and performing at Underground Atlanta.

The remainder of her professional career included serving in administrative and

supervisory positions in logistics in the Atlanta area. She held positions ranging from

secretary to international transportation coordinator and office manager.

Jeannie is preceded in death by her parents, James Donald and Lucille Wilkiins Ard and

her sisters, Louise Ard Hargroves and Carol Ard Hewitt. She is survived by her son,

Jimmy Callaway and grandson, Joshua Callaway. She will be remembered in love by her

sisters and brother, Catherine Dickey, Anne Redding, Janice Phillips, and Robert Ard and

many nieces and nephews.
