She was an exceptional mother, grandmother, great grandmother and loved by all whom she touched.

May was preceded in death by her husband Hercules R. McCumber, Sr. and leaves to cherish her memory her children; Hercules R. McCumber, Jr. (Susan) of Trenton, FL, Morgan G. McCumber (Corinne) of Springfield, GA, Hercules J. McCumber, III of Hollywood, FL, Laymon W. McCumber of Bell, FL, Gregory E. McCumber (Melissa Janish) of Bell, FL, Drenda J. McCumber Randell of Bloomingdale, GA, Wilhelmina C. McCumber Santana (Felipe) of Fresno, CA, Lisa G. McCumber Gandara (John E.) of Los Angeles, CA; 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to find a cure for Autism will be greatly appreciated by the family and will benefit one of her great grandsons, Frankie and others like him.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 30, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Fairhaven Funeral Home – Garden City Chapel followed by a service to honor May’s life beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel at the funeral home.
