He was born in Columbus, OH and was then raised by his grandmother in Charleston, W. VA.
Following high school Ralph joined the US Army and was stationed in Germany after his service with the Army he went to Business College. Ralph then went to work for Continental Grain Company in Norfolk, VA, Columbus, OH and later Savannah, GA where he retired after 30+ years of service. He then worked for Fancy Plants for about 10 years.
Ralph loved the outdoors, people, animals, and hosting parties for others; he also raised Poodles.
Survivors include his partner, Peter R. Lieze – Laiza, Jr.; other family and many friends.
Services will be private.
