

He was born in Twin City, Ga., was a U.S. Army veteran and later retired from Union Camp as a shipping clerk.
He was a member of Jasper Springs Baptist Church and the Chatham County Singing Association.
He is predeceased by his wife, Frances G. Lamb; parents Robert Lee and Mary Elizabeth Lamb; 1 son Ronald Lamb and 12 brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his son, Robert and Linda Lamb, II of Clyo, Ga; 2 daughters,Carolyn and Herbert Stafford and Helen Hurst both of Bluffton, SC; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-granchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation: 6 – 8 p.m. Monday, December 3, 2012 at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Crematory.
Funeral Services: 12:30 p.m. Tuseday, December 4, 2012 in the Chapel of the Fairhaven Funeral Home and Crematory, with
Rev. Johnny Bowen, officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery.
