Aunt Sarah was such a sweet, gentle, caring person, she will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to know her.  I always enjoyed her visits to Tennessee and appreciated her so much when she traveled to visit my dad, Vern (her brother) during his illness. Knew her at the Port Wentworth Senior center. I live on Phillips Ave. Used to give her a ride to Senior center. She was a sweet and wonderful woman. Loved her very much.

I have very fond memories of the Griffin family and Mrs Sarah's Sunday dinners. They took me under their wing when I was a 17-18 year old Soldier at Hunter Army Airfield. Ginger and Mary I'm very sorry at the passing of your Mom.

I treasure many fond memories of my visits to Aunt Sarah's house.  She always had a way of making us feel so special.  She was a great cook and shared many of her recipes with me.  I think of her every time I make a Coca-Cola cake.  She had a sweet spirit and infectious smile.  My heartfelt sympathy to all the family for your tremendous loss.

Our Aunt Sarah was with sweetest woman I have ever known.  I have so many fond memories of our family visits with her when I was growing up, most of them involving her loving hugs, her generous smile and the wonderful meals she prepared.  Then and now I long to emulate her good nature and love towards others.  My family always teases about fixing way too much food when we get together for special occasions(they don't know that it is because of how much love I felt when I sat down at Sarah's table to share a meal with her and her family).  I know her children and grandchildren already know what a special person she was. I want them to know her nieces and nephews loved her and will miss her too.  Her legacy will definitely live on.

I have known Miss Sarah my whole life.My Dad worked with Mr.Carl ,than I worked with Miss Sarah at the airport.I know you will miss her  but know that she is at peace.Remember that she loved everyone of you.
