

Frank loved his Savior Jesus, his wife, his family, and his country. The only one of 6 children of Harold and Helen (Waltrip) Gregson not born in Missouri, he entered this world at Hurley Hospital on 2/18/1941 in Flint, Michigan - but grew up in SE Missouri. The family moved back to Michigan in 1954 and Frank graduated from Flushing High School in 1959. He joined the Air Force in 1960, traveled the world serving in AF intelligence for 30 years. He retired with the rank of Chief Master Sergeant in 1990, but continued to work for the AF as a civilian for 12 more years. He married his wife Yong Kwi in March of 1979, and after retirement they traveled the US in their motorhome for 10 years, They settled finally in Seal Beach, California. His interests were church, golf, darts, bowling, walking on the beach, history and politics, and reading. He even kept a notebook of all the books he read! Frank had a long, wonderful, interesting life and passed peacefully to his eternal home on 1/28/2026 aged 84 years, 11 months, 10 days.
Internment will be at Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas on 2/24/26. He is survived by his wife of 47 years (almost 48!) Yong Kwi (Yun) Gregson; his daughter Debbie and son in law Justin from Roy, Utah; his 5 grandchildren: Jase and Oaklyn Jensen of Roy, Utah; Dakota Rees (Justine) of Roy, Utah and their children Beck and Kove Rees; Austin Rees (Melissa) and their child BrynLee of Syracuse, Utah; Colton Rees (Tonya) and their children Kade, Kasen, and Kaylee of Clinton, Utah; brothers Charles Gregson(Olline) of Kingston PA and Landreth Gregson (MaryLuz) of Seville, Spain; sisters Carolin Moorman of Apache Junction AZ and Karen Weigandt of Eugene OR; Brother- in- law Sok Won Yoon of Dallas, TX, Sisters-in-law: Yung Mi Hawkins of San Antonio, TX; Yong Hee of Los Angeles, CA; and Yong Sim of Korea; many nieces and nephews, and cousins.
