

The humor of life was never wasted on Lola Glass. She was a woman who enjoyed everything life had to offer. A loving wife, dedicated mother and supportive grandmother, Lola devoted her career to helping those who were sometimes overlooked. Lola completed her Masters in Education from California State Los Angeles with an emphasis in educating children with special needs. She spent 21 years teaching in the Garden Grove Unified School District, impacting her students daily offering them new ways of learning and inspiring them to move beyond their disabilities.
She was born in Akron, Ohio on April 22, 1929. She married Harold E. Glass on November 8, 1947 and moved to California with her family in 1952. One of Lola’s fondest memories living in Orange County was participating as an extra in the movie “That Thing you Do” with her husband.
Throughout her life she loved roller-skating and dancing to Big Band music. Lola also enjoyed gardening, fishing, trying out new recipes and spending time with her family.
She will be greatly missed by her husband of 64 years, Harold, her brother, Craig Pastori, her sons, Craig and Bruce, her grandchildren, Bruce Jr., Katherine and Annette, her great-grandchildren Serina and Gabriel along with her many friends and former students.
