

Peggy was born on August 15, 1946, in Nephi, Utah, to Frank A. Bowers and Ida Jen Harris, then grew up in Long Beach, California with her five sisters and two brothers.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Bruce Broadwater, with whom she shared over 54 amazing years of marriage. She was a loving and dedicated mother to her sons, Josh and Jeremy Broadwater. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren who brought endless happiness to her life and created countless treasured memories with her.
Peggy is preceded in death by both of her parents, Frank and Ida, as well as her sister, Sue. She is survived by her husband Bruce and siblings Diane, Eileen, Frankie, Rick, and Gary, and her children, Josh (wife Jenn), and Jeremy, as well as her four grandchildren Preston, Lexi, JJ, and Koda.
Peggy lived a life centered on faith, love, and devoted service to her family and others. Her gentle spirit, compassionate heart, and Christlike example touched the lives of all who knew her. She found great joy in caring for those around her and shared her love freely through countless acts of kindness, encouragement, and quiet service. Peggy will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her strength, her generosity, and the deep love she had for her family and friends. She had a remarkable gift for making others feel welcomed, valued, and loved.
While her presence will be deeply missed, the lessons she taught, the faith she lived, and the love she shared will continue to bless the lives of those who knew her. Her family finds comfort in the knowledge that through God's plan and the promise of eternal families, they will be reunited with her again. Though her passing leaves a profound void, her family finds comfort in the many wonderful memories they shared and in the enduring love that remains with them.
Family and friends of the Broadwater family are respectfully invited to attend funeral services, which will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 12742 Lampson Avenue, Garden Grove, California 92840.
Peggy's family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the love, support, and prayers offered during this difficult time. Her memory will forever be cherished by those whose lives she touched.
