Raquel Cortez

Raquel was born March 16th 1995, in Long Beach, California. She was a beautiful, youthful, and free spirit who touched the lives of everyone she met. She was kind, thoughtful, and generous, always uplifting those around her with her giggles and radiant smile. Raquel was creative, helpful, and a little bit silly, making every moment spent with her special. She was truly someone you loved having around and someone special to have known. On May 4th, 2026, her earthly journey came to an end but her spirit and light will remain eternal with our lord and savior.

To honor Raquel, a religious prayer/ celebration of life service will be held at the Dimond & Shannon Mortuary, in Garden Grove, Saturday June 6th at 1pm. There, we will say a couple prayers, pay our respects, share cherished memories/stories and celebrate Raquel’s life with her loved ones. This is an open service, so for those that met Raquel and would like to join, please do!
