Ray served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and retired from Pacific Bell after 46 years of service. He was a volunteer for many years at St. Vincent de Paul, helping to feed the poor. He loved to laugh, bowl, and play cards.
He is survived by 2 siblings; 4 children; 3 grandsons, and 1 great-granddaughter.
A Military Funeral Mass will be held at St. Columbian Catholic Church on Dec. 11 at 10 AM. Inurnment will be at Riverside National Cemetery.
