He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Sylvia Lopez, his sons Eric Rodriguez, 32, Richard Lopez Jr, 28, and his daughter Angelique, 26. He adored his princess “Pono” (his greatness). His mother Helen Lopez, one sister Christina Davidson, three brothers, Jeff Davidson, Vincent & Marc Lopez, eleven nieces and nephews Darla, Joann, Steven, Candice, Anthony, Mark, Vincent, Rebecca, Breanna, Britney and Kylie. He had 6 great nieces & nephews. Richard was from a very large family. Nine Tia’s, Four Uncles and over 100 cousins, many of which who referred to him as Uncle Richard. He served in the US Army, 2nd Amor Division, Hell on Wheels. He was a machinist for over 30 years, most recently working for Surefire, which he greatly loved. We all knew “Vacation Richard” who enjoyed traveling to his team’s home stadiums & arenas; Detroit (Redwings & Tigers), the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame and of course the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field. He loved to fish, ride his quad in the dessert, boating at the river and his ultimate vacation location was Hawaii; which will be his final resting place. Henrys’ in GG was his favorite hangout. His most favorite thing was to spend time with his homies and friends and he had so many. His presence was known when he entered a room as his voice was loud and thunderous. He had a tough shell but to those who knew him well, knew he had a heart of gold. His smile and laughter was contagious. He lived life on his terms and to the fullest with no regrets!! He will truly be missed by everyone, for he was a great husband, uncle, loyal friend, and without a doubt the most amazing father (his true, most precious accomplishment). Life will not be the same, we love you Richard, forever in our hearts, Rest in Peace.
