Anthony David Valentine, a man of extraordinary character, love, humility, courage and enthusiasm left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He built a life of resilience and determination, solidifying himself as a loyal son, brother, and friend.
Anthony was born in Gardena, California on August 24th, 1992. He was the first of four children born to Antoinette Moreno. His younger siblings are Margaret Perez, Giovanni Garcia, and Katherine Garcia. Anthony was raised in Carson, California and attended Carson High School where his radiant personality shined on others. He now shares heaven with his grandparents Anthony David Trujillo and Jeanette Patron, Aunt Danisha Wilson, and best friend William Gist; along with other loved ones we still think of today.
Anthony had a rare gift — he could walk into any room and instantly brighten it. He made friends everywhere he went. Funny, outgoing, and full of warmth. Whether it was a joke or just one of his signature smiles, he always knew how to make people laugh — and he loved doing it. Making someone’s day better, even for a moment, was something he truly valued.
Anthony was a true enthusiast and had countless passions that showcased his creativity. A lover of music, he never failed to fill the room with his favorite songs from Sublime or dedicate a song to you if he couldn’t find the words to express it himself.
Anthony’s enjoyment in life came from spending quality time with those he loved. His joy was contagious. He never needed a stage to shine; he just showed up and made life feel a little more fun, a little more full of love.
He may be gone too soon, but the impact he left is permanent. We’ll remember his laugh, his ridiculous jokes, the times he showed up just when we needed him, and the way he made us smile when we needed to.
Anthony, thank you for loving us the way you did. For being our bright light. We will carry your smile with us always, and we’ll keep finding ways to laugh — just like you would have wanted.
We know how you wanted this day to be a celebration of your life and not a day of sadness.
Valentine forever.
