Beverly Kirby was a true inspiration in my life because as a child I had low self esteem and every time I saw her she made me feel good about myself and this feeling carried on throughout my life and I owe that to this wonderful lady, she will be missed dearly.

Momma, I will never be able to express or find the right words to describe what an honor it was to be your daughter. You loved without boundaries! I can still hear you saying to me and Melanie, "You girls would try the patience of Job!" But you loved us unconditionally! Then when Brent, Zak and Luke were born, you were so proud and gave them that same love! You are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen or known. I miss you so much and I selfishly want you here with me to read to me, hear you say you love me! I know you're in heaven and pain free! I hope you know how much I love you! I had the great privilege of knowing and working with Beverly at Cherryville East Elementary. Very devoted to her work at school and very easy-going, she related well wth all students. She was such a special friend to me and my children as they spent many hours in the library in the summer and after school with Beverly and I. To Melanie, Windy, David, and the whole Kirby family, I am so sorry for your loss. Beverly was such a sweet, friendly, and caring Christian lady. I remember when Brent, Zak, and Luke were small children and how much she spoiled and loved them so. She always loved bringing them to church and she loved her church family and having them with her there. She seemed to have a smile on her face, especially when she was around her grandkids. When she went to First Baptist Church, she loved working for her Lord there. She was so dedicated to doing God's work. I know she got many crowns for her hard and faithful work. I have so many wonderful memories of Beverly from church and from working in Cherryville with her. She was so humble and caring and was a joy to be around. My prayers are with each of you, she will surely be missed down here. Earth's loss.....heaven's gain.

Words cannot express how broken I feel for all of you. I know the loss of a parent.  Although, I also feel joy knowing that her poor body is no longer suffering.  She is now with Jesus Running the streets of gold. No longer bound to that wheelchair. I have so many precious memories of my childhood growing up with all of you. Your mother was a precious angel. She always made sacrifices like any mother would do.  She had a smile that was so heartwarming. I remember what a wonderful cook she was. I loved to come to your house and eat because I knew it would be delicious. She would yell when we did something wrong but she always let us get away with it.  I am so thankful that I was a part of your lives and that I got to grow up beside of your family. I have so many precious memories.   I pray that God fills each of you with peace and comfort. She will always be "the wind beneath your wings". Love and prayers to you and your family.
