Jack Cecil Burchfield

Mr. Burchfield was a native of Gaston County, the son of the late Hollis L. and Mary Gann Burchfield and a retired US Navy Vietnam Veteran.

He is survived by his wife; Sarah Seay Burchfield, a step son; Tony Seay and wife Melonie, a step daughter; Dawn Laws and husband Gary, grandchildren; Travis and Taylor Seay, David Laws, Brian and Tonya Laws, great grandchildren; Ashley and Madelyn Laws.

Mr. Burchfield was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Lucille Shirlin Burchfield, five brothers and five sisters.

A graveside service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at Gaston Memorial Park with Rev. Ron Watts officiating.

The family will receive friends at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia from 12:45 to 1:45 PM prior to the service.
