

She was born on March 31, 1946, in Gastonia, North Carolina. Linda spent over 40 years working as a dedicated convenience store clerk, where she was known for her kindness, strong work ethic, and warm spirit.
Linda had a love for simple joys in life. She especially enjoyed watching western movies—her favorite being Walker, Texas Ranger. She also loved keeping a Christmas tree up year-round, decorating it for every season to bring joy to her home and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lucille Sawyer; her spouse, Tom Jordan; her children, Eddie A. Whitlock, Jeff Randall Whitlock, and Crystal L. Whitlock; her brothers, Jimmy Sawyer, Donald Sawyer, Buddy Sawyer, and Billy Sawyer; and her sisters, Helen “Boots” Sawyer Thrift and Freida Sawyer Harvey,
Linda is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Jordan Miller, and son-in-law, Quincy C. Miller; her grandchildren, Allen Michael Jordan, Chris L. Miller, Ashley N. Whitlock, Nicholas A. Whitlock, and Kayla Whitlock Shannon; and her great-grandchildren, Kayden J. Jordan, Kaizen A. Miller, Lola L. Jimenez, Isabella Valdivia, Abel Whitlock, Carmen Whitlock, Ben Whitlock, Levi Whitlock, Alissa Whitlock, Emily Whitlock, Paislay Shannon, and Easton Shannon. Brother-in-law, Barry Harvey.
A private celebration of life will be held at home.

Linda will be remembered for her love of family, her strength, and the joy she brought to those around her. She will be deeply missed.
