Lou Ellen Dickerson

Lou Ellen is survived by her daughter Martha Mecum and husband Rev. Glen Mecum of Stanley; two grandchildren, Tabitha M. Perry and husband, Daniel and Timothy E. Mecum; brother, Loyd Hudson of Gastonia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles O. Dickerson; 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 14, 2012 at East Gastonia Church of God. Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to her loving caregivers from Gaston Hospice, Myra, Janet, David and Greg.
