Marjorie Constance Clark

High Point – Marjorie McCaskill Clark, formerly of Fayetteville, NC and Gastonia, NC died peacefully on August 1, 2012 at Hospice Home of Guilford County. Mrs. Clark was born January 22, 1924 in Rockingham, NC to the late Ralph and Constance McCaskill. She was retired from the textile industry, having worked for both Burlington Industries and Dixie Yarn. She attended West Avenue Presbyterian Church in Gastonia, NC.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Clark; sisters, Ruth Church and Stella Gilreath, and daughter-in-law Sophia Canady Clark McBrayer.

Survivors include son Dennis Clark of Greensboro, NC, son Rodney Clark and wife Karen of Pearisburg, VA.; grandchildren and spouses: Sheri and Andrew Chamberlin of Greensboro, NC, Jeff and Lauren Clark of Lenoir, NC, James and Charlene Clark of Watertown, MA, Kellyn Walker of Spartanburg, SC and Kimberly Joshway of Christiansburg, VA; great-grandchildren, Kelsey and Anna Chamberlin, Grayson and Logan Clark, Kendall and Jonah Clark, Josalyn Walker, Kylie and Abigail Joshway.

The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 pm on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia, NC prior to a 2 pm graveside service at Gaston Memorial Park in Gastonia, NC.

Memorials may be made to West Avenue Presbyterian Church and to Hospice of Guilford County.
