A native of Gaston County, he was the son of Ron Brown and Margie Collins Brown.
Mark worked for TSA Homeland Security for 10 years and was formerly employed by US Airways for 11 years.
He is survived by his mother, Margie Brown of Bessemer City; father, Ron Brown of Denver; and sister, Kim Brown of Gastonia.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia.
Burial will be private.
