Ruby Phillips Freshour, age 81, of Lowell, passed away Monday May 9, 2011 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. She was born in Martin County, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Ernest and Minnie Lou Zetter Lloyde Cobb.
Mrs Freshour is survived by a sister, Mildred Cobb Weathers of Gastonia; niece, Donna Propst and husband Roger of Dallas.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia.
Funeral services wll be 1:00 PM Thursday at The Colonial Chapel of Carothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Jamie Autry officiating.
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
Mrs. Freshour was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers and three sisters.
