Steven A Williamson

A native of Gaston County, he was the son of the late Alonzo Williamson and Helen Hammett.

Mr. Williamson was a supervisor at Rhynes Manufacturing Company Incorporated and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Hice Williamson of Gastonia; step-children, Gary Randall Wilson and wife, Karen of Lincolnton, Angela Heard of Mt Holly, Crystal Straton and husband, Ken of Hendersonville, Wayne Allen Wilson and wife, Cynthia of Charleston, SC, Susie Wilson Maiers and husband, Jamie of Dallas; brothers, Jim Williamson and wife, Jane of Alexis, Richard “Dick” Williamson and wife, Sybil of High Shoals, Roger Williamson and wife, Carolyn of Dallas; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Williamson.

A graveside service will be held 2 pm Tuesday at Gaston Memorial Park with Bishop Dorsey Funderburk officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 pm Tuesday at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia.
