Tazoni Taylor Surber

A native of Smyth County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late William C. and Sallie Cardwell Taylor.

She is survived by her daughter, Sally “Karo” Thomas and husband John of Stanley, NC; granddaughter, Johnida Marilyn Thomas; special nephew, Mike Taylor; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. S. Surber; brothers, Alex Taylor, John R. Taylor; sisters, Allie Mae Marshall, Lillian Burkett, Hazel Dailey, Irene Henderson and Marilyn T. Barnard.

Services will be held at 2pm Saturday at D. R. Henderson Funeral Home Chapel in Saltville, VA.

Visitation will be 6 to 8pm Friday at D. R. Henderson Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the family cemetery in Cardwell Town, VA.
