Alice Mahoney

Alice Mahoney, 80, of Georgetown, went to her Eternal Home on Saturday, April 11, 2015. A service celebrating her life and faith will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 10am at Central Baptist Church in Round Rock, officiated by Pastor Mark Westerfield. Alice was born September 19, 1934 in Kansas City, Kansas. After graduating from Bishop Ward High School, she married Dennis "Denny" Mahoney, with whom she shared the joys of life with for more than 45 years until his passing in 2003. She was a loving housewife and mother and was extremely devoted to her family and her faith. She was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Mueller; husband, Dennis Mahoney; and a sister, Mary Lou Sleevi. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: son, Patrick Mahoney and wife Mary Jo; daughter, Kelly Verkest and husband Russ; daughter, Molly Corrigan and husband Jeff; daughter, Betsy Mahoney; daughter, Kate Baker and husband Chuck; grandchildren: Catherine, Michael, Colleen, Karlie, Meghan, Matthew, Macayla and Ben; great-grandchildren: Hailey, Logan, Rylee, Emma, Carter, Levi, Aedan and Ari; sisters, Joan Bernard and Gina Peters; and other loving family and friends.
