Amada Rios Martinez

Amada Rios Martinez 61, from Georgetown, Texas, was called to her heavenly father on Tuesday, September 27, 2016. She fought a long hard battle of many sicknesses, never giving up. She was born in Lampasas, Texas on Saturday, March 5, 1955 to Alejandro and Anita Martinez. She spent many years caring for all who came to her including the elderly at River Haven Nursing Home in Georgetown. She retired and spent the rest of her time with her children, family and friends. She spent most of her time in antique shops looking for knickknacks. If you saw her around she would stop and talk to everyone then turning a 5-minute conversation into 45 minutes. Always trying to catch up on lost time.

She is survived by her husband Donald Galbreath, her children Victor Martinez spouse Crusita Martinez, Eric Martinez spouse Dominique Martinez, and Donald Galbreath Jr., her grandchildren Serena, John and Amaris (Victor) and Jayden, Kaiden, Eli and Kai (Eric). Along with brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and in-laws. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, from 5-7pm with the rosary beginning at 7pm. A Funeral Mass will begin on Thursday October 6, 2016, at 1:30pm at St. Helen’s Catholic Church followed by graveside services at Georgetown Memorial Cemetery. Our family would like to thank The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, St. Helen’s Catholic Church and Georgetown Memorial Cemetery. She will always be a loving sister, aunt, wife, mother and grandmother. She will forever be missed and loved.
