Amanda Lee Watson

Amanda Lee Watson, 10, of Georgetown, was called to Heaven on Wednesday, August 6, 2014. A memorial service celebrating her life and faith will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 9 am at Crestview Baptist Church, 2300 Williams Dr., Georgetown, TX 78628. Amanda was born September 9, 2003 to Thomas and Sandy Watson. She attended Grace Academy of Georgetown since her Kindergarten year and loved her school and classmates. Her passion for life was contagious and her love for animals was well known. Over the past year and a half, Amanda bravely fought brain cancer with courage and endurance. Because of her compassionate heart, her faith in Christ and the joy in which she faced each day, her life touched more people in her short ten years than ever imagined possible. She was preceded in death by her cousin, Samuel Watson. She is survived by her parents; brother, Brandon; grandparents: Wayne and Paula Watson and Roy and Mary Smith; aunts: Melinda Kelley and husband Wayne; Joanna Earp and husband Jason; uncles: Clint Watson and wife Josephine; Stephen Watson and wife Lindsey; cousins: Sandra Jo and Jonathan Hyman; Katie Kelley; Cody, Ryan and Kyle Earp; AJ, Meredith, Grayson and Joseph Watson; Abigail and Jeremiah Watson and other loving family and friends.
