Anita was born on January 11, 1934, in Brady, Texas to Antonio and Eloisa Lafuente. She was the oldest of 12, five brothers and six sisters, Richard, Mary, John, Cecilia, Antonette (Toni), Johnny, Francis, Lupe, Caroline, Henry, and Florinda.
She met her soul mate, when she was just 15 years old and was married at the young age of 17 years old on July 21, 1951. Soon after being married, she began her family and was a homemaker all her life. She moved from Austin to Cedar Park and raised her family there.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward, her sons Edward (Sonny), Oscar and her father, Antonio and her mother, Eloisa. Left to honor and remember her love are, her son John and daughters Irene (Rinny) Rositas; Janie Rositas(Guillermo) and Lisa Cooper(Kevin); her grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephanie, Jessica, Samantha, Sabrina, Angelica, Bobby, Blake, Gabriel, and Sydney. Her great grandchildren, Kalie, Danielle, Sonny, Dominick, Mariah, Nickolas, Ezekiel, Neveah, Brandon, Lauren, Leah, and Bailey, and great great grandchildren, Brayden, Sophia, and Layla.
She knew no strangers and was loved by all that knew her. She will be remembered by her faith and deep love for the Lord and her family.
A viewing for all family and friends will be held from 9:00 A.M. – 11 A.M. on August 4, 2023, at Cook - Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Dr., Georgetown, Texas 78628.
Funeral Service will be conducted by Pastor Bob Brydon of Generations Church, at 11:00 A.M.
Deacon Edward Rositas will be officiating the committal service at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S I-35 Frontage Rd. Austin, TX 78704 at 1:00 P.M.
