Anita’s strong faith in the Lord shined through her compassion and outpouring of love for others. She had a special way of touching the hearts of everyone she met. If there was ever anyone in need, she was quick to provide an abundance of love and support to lift them up. She demonstrated this even during her last days on earth. No matter how much she was suffering, she continued to be strong and made sure to let everyone know how much she cared. People that were blessed to know her cherished her words of wisdom, worldly advice and unwavering, everlasting friendship.
She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, John Braxton Williams and her two sons John McCully and his wife Christine of Cedar Park, Texas and John Wesley Williams and his wife Ashley of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by three grandsons, William Paul McCully, Christian Vaughan McCully and David Ryan Gillenwaters. She was blessed to have a wonderful group of caregivers over the past year and the gracious support from the congregation of Georgetown Church of the Nazarene.
