

Anna Maria Gomez, age 68, of Round Rock, Texas, peacefully passed away on February 8, 2024. She was born on June 8, 1955, in Dimmitt, Texas, to Maria Montalvo Lopez and Lino Lopez. Anna was a loving and caring mother, wife, sibling, aunt, and grandmother. She was known for her warm and giving nature, always putting her family first.
Anna found joy in spending quality time with her loved ones and cherished moments of togetherness. She had a passion for traveling and enjoyed the comfort of watching movies and series at home with a freshly brewed cup of coffee and pan dulce. Anna loved sitting on her patio in the mornings, savoring the sunrise with her favorite hot coffee. She also found solace in taking morning walks along sun-warmed sandy beaches. The company of her loved ones always brought a smile to her soul, and family was her greatest source of happiness.
Anna is survived by her two sons, Rolando Cruz and Steve Gomez, as well as her sister, Emma Delia Alvarez. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hector Eloy Gomez, her sister, Lina Lopez, and her parents, Maria Montalvo Lopez and Lino Lopez.
Anna had an accomplished career, working for the PSJA School District for many years before becoming a specialist in writing contracts for the State of Texas in Austin. She dedicated her professional life to her work and retired from the State of Texas.
Anna worshipped at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Her faith was an important part of her life, providing her with strength and support.
In her free time, Anna enjoyed being surrounded by family, watching movies (especially "Mamma Mia" or anything related to zombies), and playing Pet Saga on her phone. These hobbies brought her joy and relaxation.
Visitation will be held at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel and Crematory located in Georgetown, Texas on Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 with the Rosary at 7:00pm. The following morning, a mass will be held at St. John Vianney Catholic Church at 10:00am. Following the mass, our beautiful lady, Anna will be gently laid to rest at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery & Prayer Gardens.
Anna Maria Gomez will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
