Arlyn Mae Carle

Arlyn M. Carle passed away on May 26, 2015 at the age of 94 years old. She was born to Mildred Berhent Burger and Eugene Burger on May 28, 1920. She married Wilbur A. Carle in 1945 and was married for 55 years. Arlyn is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Russell Burger.

She is survived by her daughters, Judy Carle and Janine Alford (husband Kenneth) of Georgetown, Texas. Arlyn grew up in Brecksville, Ohio, moved to Cleveland, Ohio and lived many, many years in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. She moved to Georgetown, Texas to be closer to her family for the past eight years. Arlyn was a secretary for Superior Funeral Supply Company in Cleveland for many years. Arlyn was also active in her church (Our Savior Lutheran) in Mayfield Heights for over 50 years.

Arlyn enjoyed square dancing and loved flowers. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Final resting place will be at Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield Heights, Ohio in mid-September. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in honor of Arlyn at The Wesleyan at Scenic, Skilled Memory Care (Alzheimer’s), 2001 Scenic Drive, Georgetown, Texas 78626.
