Billie "Jeanne" Dill

Billie Jean (Jeanne) Dill passed away on May 28, 2008 surrounded by her family. Jeanne was born February 27, 1930 in St. Louis, MO to the late Raymond & Della Louise Donner. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in St. Louis and then attended nursing school at Barnes Hospital. She married Earl Robb Dill in 1952. They raised five children while moving within Missouri and Texas many times. For eighteen years, Jeanne and Earl traveled throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico, making many friends along the way. Most recently she was a resident of the Park Place Care Center in Georgetown, TX. Jeanne was a loving and generous mother and grandmother. She loved to sing, watch birds and spend time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her large family and many friends. She is survived by her husband Earl Robb Dill and her sons Tom, Chris and the late George Dill; daughters Kathy Shelden and Sandra Hoyle-Smith; daughters-in-law Wendy and Yvette; son-in-law Barry Shelden and grandchildren Amber, Nicholas, Stacy, Kelly, Amy, Katie, Michael, Corey, Haley and Isabella. She is also survived by her brother Norman Donner, his wife Marie and their four children. The memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, June 1, 2008, at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel with Pastor Joe Cariker, officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 pm Sunday.
