Billy Rex Adair Sr.

Bill Adair, born January 30, 1932, in Nowata, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. He was the son of Levi and Jessie Jane Adair.

While stationed at Dover Air Force Base, Bill met and married the love of his life, Shelby. Together they shared a beautiful marriage filled with love, laughter, and family.

Bill is survived by his devoted wife, Shelby Adair of 69 years; his children Bill Adair Jr., Robin Silliman, Bobby Adair (Kat), Toby Adair (Sheri), and Tom Adair (Rachel). He was blessed with 22 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.

He was preceded in death by his beloved son Mark Adair, his parents Levi and Jessie Jane Adair, his son in law Jerry Silliman and three of his siblings.

Bill’s life was marked by service, dedication, and deep love for his family. He will be remembered as a proud veteran, a devoted husband and father, and a man of integrity and strength.

A visitation will be held on October 15, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, located at 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas 78628, with the funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM. Billy will be laid to rest following the services at 2:00 pm at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 TX-195, Killeen, Texas 76542.
