Carrie Ann Barton-Smith

Carrie Ann was born in Austin,Texas on January 2, 1943 to Charlie and Ollie Barton. She attended school at Georgetown, Texas, graduating in 1961. Following graduation, she continued her education at Southwest Texas State University graduating with a degree in Family and Consumer Science in 1965. She later returned to Southwest Texas State University and earned a degree in Art. Carrie Ann went on to teach Family Consumer Sciences and Art for 30+ years.

Carrie Ann loved spending time with her family, fellowshipping with her prayer group Wings, planting flowers, painting and loving on her grandchildren. She is survived by David A. Smith; daughters Terri Williams Wisian and husband Mike Wisian, Merry Carol Williams-Rodriguez and husband Manny Rodriguez, Laura Smith Bryant and husband Tim Bryant. Carrie Ann is also survived by 4 grandsons and 2 granddaughters: Dalton Rodriguez, Brock Rodriguez, Savannah Wisian, Carter Wisian, Justin Wisian, and Lauren Bryant.

Visitation will take place Friday, January 23, 2015 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 3:30pm; at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas.
