Charles Van Brock, 83, beloved husband, father and Poppy, went to be with his Heavenly Father on May 18, 2013. He was born on February 12, 1930 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Robert and Vernon Brock. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and served his community as a dentist for 50 years in Raytown, Missouri. Charlie enjoyed spending time with his family, flying and had a passion for racing sailboats.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, brother Richard and his son Chuck.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; his son, John; his son, Robert and wife, Robin; grandchildren, Ashlee, Aspen, Rivers and Sailor; his brother, Eugene; and many special nieces and nephews.
A military graveside service will be held on Friday, the 7th of June 2013 at eleven o’clock in the morning at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas with Father Larry Stehling officiating.
