Dalton Lee Lofton Love, age 17, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020. He was born July 19, 2002 in Austin, the son of Darrell Lofton and Janie Edwards. He attended East View High School and Cedar Creek High School. He was scheduled to graduate in May of 2020 and had plans to attend college in the fall. He was a member of the football, basketball, and track teams.
Dalton was a natural born-entertainer and loved to make people smile and laugh. He enjoyed creating and editing videos for his DLHeart TV YouTube channel.
He is survived by his adopted parents, Dustin and Lindsey Love; his biological parents, Darrell Lofton and Janie Edwards; siblings, Jacob Long, Johnathan Long, Dantea Lofton Love, Dallis Lofton, Dena Miles, Deja Edwards, Dillin Lofton, Darriel Lofton, Gwendolyn Cupp, Gabrielle Love, and Jaydon Love.
A funeral services to celebrate Dalton’s life will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the Georgetown Church of Christ in Georgetown, Texas with Minister Shawn Montandon officiating. The family requests that attendees wear light and bright colors to celebrate Dalton’s optimistic outlook on life.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the Fostering Hope Austin, Simple Sparrow Care Farm, and Cherokee Children’s Home.
