Debra Kaye Browne

Debbi was born November 2,1956 in Columbia, Tennessee to Thomas and Etta Fox. She graduated from Parkway North High School in Saint Louis, Missouri in 1975. Debbi went to Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, where she received a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Psychological Counseling. It was at SEMO where she met E.J. Browne, who she married in 1980. Debbi and EJ had two daughters, Cassandra and Laura. Debbi worked for the State of Missouri for 25 years in the field of vocational counseling, assisting the disabled community with access to education and career opportunities. She continued in this calling for the State of Texas when she and EJ moved from Missouri to Texas in 2010. Debbi happily retired in 2013, and moved to Sun City, where she enjoyed other passions, such as pickleball, card making and pottery.

Debbi is survived by husband E.J., daughters Cassandra and Laura, and granddaughters Rosaleah, Abigail and Fiona and sister-in-law Kathy Browne. She joins her mother, father and sister Bettye Griffor.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, January 3 at 10:00 am and will be held at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home located at 2900 Williams Street, Georgetown, TX 78628. A memorial reception will follow at Sun City from 12 pm - 3 pm. The reception will be held in the Georgetown and Florence rooms in the Cowan Creek Amenity Center.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Debbi's name to the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter.
