Dorothy Christine Guthrie

Dorothy Christine (Mullins) Guthrie of Georgetown, TX, passed away, Friday, January 2, 2009 at the age of 68. Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Waco Memorial Park, on IH 35, Waco, TX. Dorothy was a Christmas baby being born December 25, 1940 to Raymond L. and Cleo F. (Miller) Mullins in Waco, TX. She graduated from Waco High School. On March 30, 1964, she married James T. Guthrie in Marlin, TX. She had resided in Georgetown for the past 26 years. Prior to that time she had lived in Leander, Austin and Ft. Worth. Dorothy worked for Hart Graphics for a number of years. Dorothy is survived by two sons, Kevin R. Guthrie and wife, Michele of Chanute, KS and Donald R. Guthrie and wife, Charlotte of Georgetown, TX, one sister, Debra A. Hart and husband Robert of Georgetown, TX and one brother, William L. Mullins and wife Tommie, of Cedar Park, TX, four grandchildren Ryan Guthrie of Georgetown, Becky Guthrie of Georgetown, Davey Backus and Lacey Backus of Chanute, KS and two great-grandchildren, Carolina Guthrie and Jaden Williams.
