

Elizabeth (Liz) Ann Robbins, 57, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away Friday, March 30 in Austin. She was born on January 8, 1955, in Baytown, Texas, to John and Leona Goodney. Liz graduated from Deer Park High School and was a Commercial Underwriter for various Houston area insurance agencies.
In 1981 she married Kenneth Robbins in Highlands, Texas. They moved to Georgetown in 1986 where they would raise their three daughters. After moving to Georgetown, Liz continued to work as an Underwriter before finishing her working career at Georgetown Independent School District.
Liz is predeceased by her father, John and little sister Theresa.
She is survived by Kenneth Robbins and their three daughters, Lindsey, Monica and Laura Robbins all of Georgetown and her mother and stepfather, Leona and Gene Harvey. Also survived by brother John Paul Goodney and wife Colleen, sister Mary Furgeson and husband Robert, sister Margaret Modiesette and husband Duane and brother David Goodney and wife Nadine. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Liz was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church and was active in the religious education program for several years. While Liz was disabled for the past fifteen years and struggled with multiple health issues and chronic pain, she remained committed to her faith.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, April 1st from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm then the Rosary will be recited by Deacon Vern Dawson in the chapel of the Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas. Her life will be celebrated with a full Catholic Mass at St. Helen Catholic Church in Georgetown officiated by Father Jairo Sandoval Pliego on Monday, April 2nd at 2:30 pm in the afternoon followed by internment at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery in Georgetown.
