

Emma Earline Marley, 84 of Salado, died January 13, 2008 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at First Baptist Church of Florence, 106 College Ave. Interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Briggs. The family will receive friends from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at the church on Monday, January 14, 2008. Earline was born November 4, 1923 to Horace Lee and Clara Elizabeth (Gray) Kelley in Briggs, TX. she grew up in and around Burnet County. She married Charles Franklin Marley, Jr. on September 20, 1941 in Florence. Earline set out being a homemaker and mother, the couple settled in Florence in 1946 moving from Ft. Hood. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church. Earline was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers; Lee Kelley, Dee Kelley, sister; Frieda Mae Kelley, and grandchild; Justin Bowman. She leaves to cherish her memory daughters; Joan Marley Jackson of Salado, Sherral Marley Clark of Beebe, Ark., Debra Marley Greenamyer of Florence, son; Steven C. of Amarillo, sisters; Claudia Denson of Pasadena, TX., Dorothy Everett of Burnet, TX., brother; Ray Kelley of Lampasas, ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren with one more on the way. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
