Gabriela Brianna Leal

Gabriela Brianna Leal, 13 of Georgetown, passed away surrounded by her loving family on August 13, 2024. Gabby was diagnosed with leukemia in 2013. She received a bone marrow transplant in 2015 and was the very first child to receive T-cells in San Antonio, Texas. She was cancer free for seven years before she was diagnosed with High-grade glioma in 2023 and lost her battle in 2024.

Gabby loved spending time with her family and pets Midnight and BooBoo, food, music, art, animals and traveling. Some of her most favorite places to visit were the beach, zoos, aquariums and Disney World.

Gabby is survived by her mother Rachel D. Rios, stepfather Noom Mooney, and her two siblings John Anthony and Priscilla Leal of Georgetown, Texas. Gabby is also survived by her father Augustine Leal of Manor, Texas. Gabby touched the hearts of many and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Visitation with be held for Gabby on Friday, August 30, 2024 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 N. IH-35, Georgetown, Texas 78628. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Georgetown Church of Christ, 1525 W. University Avenue, Georgetown, Texas 78628.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Dell Children's Hospital
