Guadalupe E. Martinez

Guadalupe E. Martinez, 92, of Round Rock, entered into rest March 23, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born December 25, 1919 to Juan and Cipriana Espinoza in Michoacán, Mexico. Guadalupe came to the U.S. as a young girl. She worked at various jobs to make ends meet, cooking in restaurants, housekeeping, and several others. She moved to Round Rock in 1972 and remained there until her passing. She worshipped at St. William’s Catholic Church. Guadalupe spent her free time sewing, cooking, crocheting, gardening, and helping others. Her passion in her life was the care and love she showed to her family and grandchildren. Guadalupe is survived by her sons, Teddy and wife Rebecca Martinez, Rafael and wife Esperanza Espinoza, and Roberto and wife Maribel Espinoza; brothers, Roberto and Valentin; sisters, Caritina and Lydia; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at the Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown. There will be a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, March 26, 2012 at the funeral home with interment following at Our Lady of The Rosary Cemetery in Georgetown.
