Guadalupe is survived by his wife, Antonia Solis; his children, Dolores Escutia (Marcelo), Richard Solis (Cristina), Gilbert Solis, Simon Solis (Sharesa), Anthony Solis and Susan Henry; his sisters and brothers, Linda Meyer, Connie Escamilla, Albert Solis, Fred Solis (Eva), Jesse Solis (Bertha), Domingo Solis (Virginia); 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Guadalupe is preceded in death by his parents, Simon and Rita Solis; 2 sons; brothers, Jose Solis and Manuel Solis and sister, Janie Solis.
The family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. on Monday, October 16, 2017 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas 78628, followed by a reciting of the rosary at 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Florence Cemetery, 507B Story Avenue, Florence, Texas 76527.
