

Howard Vincent Caron was born to Doris Martha Smith and Howard Vincent, Sr. in San Antonio, Texas on November 7, 1948. He passed away October 2, 2015 in Georgetown, Texas at the age of 67. Howard attended Roosevelt High School in San Antonio. Upon graduating from Roosevelt, Howard enlisted in the Navy and served in the Vietnam War. After his service in the Navy, he moved to Mountain View, California in 1972, where he worked at Moffett Federal Airfield and the VA Hospital.
Howard married Linda J. Ray on December 20, 1974. From that union, they had one daughter, Michelle Lee Caron-Rose, born on February 28, 1979. Howard was an avid fisherman, enjoyed restoring woodwork and watching car shows. On July 16, 1982 Howard met his life partner, Rachael Weldon. They were married on April 9, 1988. From their union they had one son and two daughters, Ryan Montiel Caron, Jasmine Caron, and Shannon Marie Caron. Howard found his true passion in being a devoted husband, father and family man.
Howard enjoyed tinkering, giving relationship advice to Rachael’s single friends, cooking, watching international soccer and he loved calling Ariana Williams when he had technical problems. He enjoyed meeting people around the neighborhood and connecting with others. Howard never met a stranger. His pride and joy were his children and grandchildren.
Howard is survived by his wife of 27 years, Rachael Weldon-Caron; his daughters, Michelle Lee-Rose and Shannon Caron; his grandsons, Jaxton Ryan Rose and Alexander Montiel Caron; his granddaughters, Kyra Ray Rose and Sophia Louise Caron; his mother, Doris M. Caron; his sisters, Marsha Sauerman, Shirley Smith, Elaine Guajardo and Sueann Caron; and his brother, David Caron.
Howard was preceded in death by his father Howard Vincent Caron, Sr., his sister Janice Caron, his daughter Jasmine Caron and his son Ryan Montiel Caron.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Howard's life will be at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at University United Methodist Church in Austin, Texas.
