Jessie Eugene Watts

1951Jessie Eugene Watts, 61, died on July 25, 2012, after a short battle with lung cancer. He died in his home with his friends by his side in Georgetown, Texas. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 2:00 PM at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown. Jessie was born on February 18, 1951 to Olean Crisp and JW Parker. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. He is survived by his sister, Susan Howard, two nieces, cousins and extended family. Jessie was a long-time resident of the Company of Rock House where he lived and worked. He loved to bowl and participated in the bowling Special Olympics where he earned several ribbons. Mr. Watts enjoyed washing cars and doing yard work. His neighbors adored him and they didn’t mind when he came over to help. Jessie enjoyed listening to blues and gospel music. Jessie never acknowledged his disabilities and strived to get up and go, even in his last days on earth. He was a testimony to those around him by never giving up!
