Jesus Monroy

Jesus Monroy, 56, of Florence, Texas passed away on September 18, 2023. He was born on January 2, 1967 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Honorio Monroy Tello and Agustina Sánchez Tello. Jesus was a loving father and grandfather, a devoted husband, and an amazing friend to many. He will be truly missed.

Jesus is preceded in death by his parents; and his sisters, Teresa Monroy Sánchez and Ma Félix Monroy Sánchez.

Jesus is survived by his wife, Ofelia Bernal; his sons, Antonio Monroy and Gregorio Israel Monroy; his grandchildren, Amira Celeste Monroy, Amilio Agustino Monroy, and Amado Santino Monroy; his loving nephew, Juan Francisco Rodríguez Monroy; and his siblings, Evaristo Monroy Sánchez, Santiago Monroy Sánchez, Ma de Jesús Monroy Sánchez, Ma del Refugio Monroy Sánchez, Ma del Carmen Monroy Sánchez, and Jose Emanuel Monroy Sánchez.

A visitation for Jesus will be held Sunday, September 24, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, TX 78628, followed by a rosary from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
