She attended schools in Lohn, Anson, and Abilene, Texas. Lillie married James Pearson in December of 1951 and they moved to Austin where he was stationed at Bergstrom Air Force Base.
Before her retirement, Lillie worked as a bookkeeper for Charles Maund Oldsmobile-Cadillac for over 30 years and other auto dealerships. She was very active in her church and held membership at Skyview and Gateway Baptist Church in Austin, Texas as well as New Hope Baptist Church in Jarrell, Texas.
Lillie was preceded in death by James, her loving husband of 64 years, on June 26, 2016 and also her grandson, Stephen Terrio-Pearson, and her three brothers Curtis Necessary of Killeen, Texas, Clifton Necessary of Snyder, Texas, and Harold Gene Necessary of Conroe, Texas.
She is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-laws, Rick Pearson and his wife Sherri of Lampasas, Texas and Ronald Pearson and his wife Dianne of Jarrell, Texas and their families; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other close friends and relatives.
The family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, November 20, 2020 in the chapel of the Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Bastrop, Texas.
